About Sommelier Rasťo Šuták
Rastislav Šuták is one of Slovakia’s leading sommeliers with years of professional experience. In 2019, he represented Slovakia at the World Sommelier Championships in Belgium, achieving the best-ever Slovak result – 24th place out of 66 participants.
Rasťo emphasizes that a sommelier is not a celebrity – his work is about passion, education, and providing authentic experiences. During the tasting, he will not only guide you through the wines but also share stories about the origin, history, and production techniques.
